Albuman 20mg/100ml

Indications:

Human albumin is indicated for plasma volume expansion and correction of hypoalbuminemia in conditions such as shock, burns, sepsis, liver cirrhosis with ascites, and major surgery. Its key advantage is strong oncotic pressure, which allows effective movement of fluid from the interstitial space into the intravascular compartment, leading to rapid improvement in hemodynamic stability. In ICU settings, albumin is particularly valuable when crystalloids alone are insufficient or when fluid overload must be avoided. It is widely used in liver disease, especially during large-volume paracentesis, and in critically ill patients requiring precise volume management. Human albumin provides predictable and physiologic volume expansion, making it an essential component of advanced fluid therapy.
